Our Story

From Ca Mau to Seattle

A family tradition, carried across generations and oceans.

Every loaf has a beginning. Ours starts in 1963, in the warm and bustling streets of Ca Mau, Vietnam, where a small family bakery filled the neighborhood with the scent of fresh bread each morning. Our founder, Mr. Quang, learned the craft of baking from his father, continuing a proud and longstanding family tradition.

That love for bread traveled with him. In 1990, Mr. Quang brought his family’s legacy to Seattle, sharing not only bánh mì, but also the warmth of home, the comfort of memory, and the spirit of Vietnamese hospitality.

"This is more than bread. It is a story of dedication, family, and the joy of sharing Vietnamese culture through food."
